The Annual Parish Assembly for 2014 will be held on Tuesday 20 May, at 7.30pm, in the Village Hall, followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting, to which all parishioners are welcome to attend. The agendas will be posted approximately a week before the meetings.

From 1 July 2014, the time for the mobile library to stop at the Kings Head will change to 5.05pm (currently at 4.50pm).
New timetables will be published towards the end of May 2014 and will be displayed on the Parish Council noticeboard at the village hall.
Please see attached document showing upcoming local road closures. The works are scheduled within the next 18 months and exact dates will be notified via advanced warning signage on sites. Letters to residents and other affected parties advising of dates will be sent out at least 2 weeks in advance.
Essex County Council’s Highways Teams will be out around the county mending pot holes over the next three months and they wish to remind residents that if anyone knocks on their door to say they are working for the Council, please ensure that you ask them for ID. If you are unsure whether they are genuine, please contact ECC on 01245 430670 and they will make the necessary checks.
